Virgin Hotels New Orleans' Pool Club will be hosting two events to celebrate Pride and Juneteenth this June.
Virgin Hotels New Orleans is a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of the Warehouse District. It features a rooftop bar and pool overlooking iconic sights of the city.
Lipstick on the Water Pride Event
On Sunday, June 14, during New Orleans Pride weekend, The Pool Club will host Lipstick On The Water, a poolside celebration for LGBTQ+ Black and Brown women. Enjoy an afternoon of connection, joy, and summer vibes with music by DJ Shan Li.
Lipstick on the Water will take place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is first-come, first-served poolside seating with $10 tickets per person for non-hotel guests.
Juneteenth with GLBL WRMNG
On Friday, June 19, Virgin Hotels New Orleans' Pool Club will celebrate Juneteenth with GLBL WRMNG, a prominent New Orleans-based music and creative collective. Celebrate the day at the poolside with DJ entertainment and a cocktail menu of Black-owned spirit brands The Pool Club supports throughout the year.
The event will last from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are available for non-hotel guests, and a portion of the proceeds will go to a Black-led non-profit organization.
