TU Fashion, one of Tulane University's premier student organizations, is thrilled to announce the return of the annual TU Fashion Show at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Lavin-Bernick Center.
Recognized as one of the most unique and eagerly awaited events on the university's campus, the TU Fashion Show blends creativity, industry insight, and exploration to explore the fashion and corporate world while also showcasing the talents and elegance of Tulane students.
The theme for this year's show, "Bull and Bear," draws inspiration from the world of business, corporate culture, and the financial markets. Particularly exploring cycles of ambition, risk, and reward, the show will examine the volatile nature of success and failure, explore the power dynamics and challenges within the corporate world, and explore bold critiques of power. The "Bull and Bear" theme provides a platform for TU Fashion to address critical issues such as the pressure of corporatism, the corrupting influence of wealth, and the adverse effects of ambition, making this fashion both timely and deeply engaging for audiences.
According to TulaneFashion.com, "Attendees can expect a visually rich narrative examining the dual nature of prosperity and downfall, delving into deeper topics like capitalist pressures, glamorizing wealth, and the cost of ambition."
