Jazz on Sunday Afternoon
The Three Maries Jazz Club, located in the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, just recently officially launched the first performance in its new Jazz on Sunday Afternoon series.
For the foreseeable future, guests and locals can stop in for jazz programming, following the Rib Room's Jazz Brunch.
Event Details
Every Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., live jazz performances will be held in Omni Royal Orleans' Three Maries Jazz Club. With signature drinks and appetizers, guests can enjoy food, company, and classic New Orleans jazz.
The featured performers are or previously have been associated with Preservation Hall, a historic French Quarter music venue. Previous performances in this series have included Kasey Ball and Ramon Navarro III.
Guests have bar and kitchen access, with signature drinks such as the Dust N' Bones and Caviar and Champagne available for purchase. Popular appetizers include jambalaya arancini, griddled petite muffuletta, and grilled andouille.
Additional Jazz Club Features
In the spirit of New Orleans jazz, the hotel also hosts a jazz brunch in the Rib Room. This includes brunch menu items and a performance from Sugar Bear and the Jazz Cats from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
Those not quite ready to leave the jazzy atmosphere now have Jazz on Sunday Afternoon to follow up their brunch experience—with cocktails, as well.
The Three Maries Jazz Club also maintains their typical Thursday through Saturday programming, which includes upcoming performances by Glen David Andrews, Cecil Edwards, Or Shovaly, and Leroy Jones, among others.
