Want to sip on cocktails, have costume
crafting sessions, and king cake pairings? The historic building standing on
the corner of Canal and Magazine, the Sazerac House, along with cocktail
historian Elizabeth Pearce, Mask and Headdress Designer Elizabeth Zibilich, and
Bywater Bakery, will make that happen in classic New Orleans style.
In honor of bringing in the vibrant
culture of Mardi Gras and the return of the parade route, the Sazerac House
will be hosting a series of extraordinary events celebrating the merriment and
festivities of carnival, alongside delightful and historic cocktail pairings.
The three floors of the Sazerac House exhibit New Orleans history and welcome
visitors as they can experience carnival through the stories of the cocktail-infused
legend big this year! Special events, alongside the "King Cocktail" House Float
in the lobby of the Sazerac House, will let guests encounter Carnival in true
New Orleans fashion.
