Looking for just the right place for some holiday fun to get you into the winter mood? Then look no further than the Sazerac House!

Located on 101 Magazine St., the Sazerac House honors not only the famous cocktail it's named after, but also the classic drinking culture of old New Orleans. Not only does the house have plenty of exhibits for guests to enjoy, they also host multiple different kinds of special events, including holiday specific events.

On December 14, the Sazerac House will host "Cheers to Cheese: Holiday Gatherings" from 4-5:30 p.m. This holiday themed tasting will explore cocktail and cheese pairing that are perfect for anyone's next Christmas gathering. Not only will the event be led by the Sazerac House's cocktail experts, the St. James Cheese Company will also be taking part. Admission for this tasting is $40 per person.

Additionally, there will be a seminar on December 21 from 4-5:30 p.m. entitled "Drink & Learn: Creole Holiday Traditions." Hosted by drink historian Elizabeth Pearce and the Sazerac House's cocktail experts, this event will discuss Creole history and different cocktail recipes that pay homage to NOLA holiday delights. Admission for the seminar will be $50 per person.

Guests for both events must be 21 or older in order to attend. In addition to those holiday-specific events, the Sazerac House is also hosting a number of different events throughout December, such as drink and food pairings, the Barrel to Bottle experience, and the "Strike Down Social: A Celebration of Repeal Day."

Visit the Sazerac House's website to see all of its upcoming events and to book your reservations for any of them.
