What is the "Stormin' of the Sazerac?"

On September 26, 1949, a group of women marched into the Sazerac Bar and demanded service during a time when the bar would only serve women on Mardi Gras Day. This protest was dubbed the "Stormin' of the Sazerac" and has become a celebrated event at the Roosevelt Hotel.
