The keynote speaker will be Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser. Passionate about keeping Louisiana safe and for promoting tourism, Nungesser will speak to Stake Out Luncheon guests on the theme of celebrating "30 Years of Valor."

In addition to Nungesser's talk, there will be awards for first responders and brief statements from NOPD Supt. Anne Kirkpatrick and LSP Col. Robert Hodges. Guests are invited to film and share these messages.

Chairs of the event will be Ben Dupuy, Gordon H. Kolb, Jr., and Zach Kupperman. The luncheon will celebrate not only 30 years of the NOPJF but also highlight recent collaborations with global advisory firm Teneo and former NYPD Commissioner William J. Bratton to investigate the New Year's Day tragedy on Bourbon Street.

The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time!

What is the NOPJF?

Working in tandem with the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the NOPJF aims to create a safer New Orleans by supporting our police and criminal justice sectors.

Among the NOPJF's accomplishments are the Tragedy Fund, which helps injured officers and their families, and the Tuition Assistance Program, which supports NOPD employees in paying for college. NOPJF also helps provide gear and equipment to officers and their horses and canines.

In New Orleans, NOPJF has been integral in the SafeCam NOLA initiative, providing over 4,000 security cameras that help in catching suspects and solving crimes. Also, the Adopt-a-Block campaign involves community members who set up security cameras in areas of the city that are known for heavy crime rates.

NOPJF also helps the NOPD with the JoinNOPD recruitment initiative, the OPISIS Technology enterprise that makes sure our police have the most modern software, and special trainings that develop our officers into the best leaders and crime fighters they can be.
