The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center along with its rooftop bar, Rosie's on the Roof, is asking the age-old question: Was Rosie the Riveter Irish? They are looking to answer that during their St. Patrick's Day celebration this year, which will run from March 13 through March 19. On March 17- the actual date of St. Patrick's Day- various Irish themed festivities will take place in Kilroy's Bar and Lounge located in the Higgins Lobby.

The Four Leaf Clovers will be playing live music and there will even be a meet-and-greet with Rosie the Riveter herself! As for food, Virgile Brandel, the executive chef of The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center, will be serving a special Irish menu full of delicacies such including delicious shepherd's pies and filling corned beef sandwiches amongst various others. Additional St. Patrick's specials will include 5 for $20 bottled beer and $6.00 for Tullamore Dew & Jameson drinks.

Visit Rosie's on the Roof Sunday-Thursday 4-10 pm and Friday and Saturday 4-11 pm. Rosie's on the Roof will be closed on Friday, March 17. Visit Kilroy's Bar and Lounge on Friday, March 17, 4-11 pm for the St. Patrick's Day celebration.

An homage to the women of all cultural heritages during World War II including-- but not limited to-- the iconic Rosie the Riveter, Rosie's on the Roof is a rooftop bar that is decorated with memorabilia and artwork signifying women's wartime contributions. Featuring panoramic views of the WWII Museum and the beautiful New Orleans skyline, Rosie's on the Roof is open daily during the evening evening. The bar offers great food and various craft cocktails.

The Higgins Hotel is located at 1000 Magazine St.
