Da Lovebirds and Sari Jordan

Contemporary jazz singer Robin Barnes is bringing her Soulful Sessions to the Peacock Room. Da Lovebirds was asked by the Peacock Room to assist in creating a list of artists for the event. Sari Jordan will be the first person to perform in this music series. Born in New Jersey but raised in New Orleans, this singer and songwriter is recognized for her hypnotic lyricism and voice reminiscent of Billie Holiday and Nora Jones. Currently, Sari Jordan has an EP entitled Sing to the Moon, which she released in 2023.

Robin Barnes, the Songbird of New Orleans, grew up immersed in jazz. Her inspiration landed her a #5 spot on the Traditional Jazz Album Billboard charts with her debut album. She has appeared on Bravo, BET, ESPN, NCIS, and more. Her original song "You Give Me" was featured in Mignon Faget's spring jewelry collection commercial. She was named "2021's Most Influential in New Orleans" by Adore Magazine. Robin and her husband formed Da Lovebirds, an R&B duo that brings sultriness and intimacy in every performance. The Peacock Room's collaboration with Robin Barnes is aimed to solidify their status as the destination for R&B nights.
