A Hauntingly Hilarious Tribute
During any other month of the year, 600 St. Charles Avenue looks like a classic New Orleans home. Grande, well-manicured, and boasting historic charm, the beautiful home transforms completely during the month of October—garnering the name the "Skeleton House."
Skeletons Galore
The front lawn is decked out in over one-hundred skeletons, all dressed in elaborate costumes, each with a special spooky name. From Indiana Bones to Scary Poppins, the Skeleton House will make you die of laughter from their Halloween puns and creative jokes.
With the arrival of Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" on Friday, October 25 through Sunday, October 27 to the Caesars Superdome, Swifties around New Orleans are preparing. From Taylor Swift raves to "The Eras Tour" themed merch at Fleurty Girl, it seems as though the entire city is abuzz with excitement—and this includes the Skeleton House! Featuring an extensive lineup of Taylor Swift skeletons, one for each of her 11-studio albums, Terror Swift's "The ScERAS Tour" is a focal point of the entire display. They even included a skeleton for Taylor's Boyfriend, Travis Skelce!
With song names and lyrics lining the lawn—"No Body, No Crime," "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," and more—the Skeleton House is able to combine a local New Orleans tradition with the excitement of a popular concert. So whether you're a Halloween lover or Taylor Swift fanatic—maybe even both—stop by the Skeleton House on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and State Street to experience this spooktacular display!
