Secret Walls, which is currently on tour to different cities in the United States and Canada, will be making a stop in New Orleans on September 1 to have local artists take part in a live art competition. The event will be taking place at the House of Blues New Orleans, located at 225 Decatur St., at 7 p.m.

General admission for the event, which is only available to people 18 and older with a valid ID, is $25 and a Secret Walls VIP Tour Package is also offered for $99 per person. To purchase tickets, visit either Secret Walls' or the House of Blues New Orleans' websites.

Get Cultured

Before the competition on the same day, there will be a Secret Walls panel discussion with local New Orleans artists Jay McKay, Birdcap, Ceaux, and Langston Allston, which will be moderated by Secret Walls MC Che Anderson.

The panel discussion will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Three Keys venue in the Ace Hotel New Orleans, which is located at 600 Carondelet St. The talk is free to attend and, while not required, RSVPs are encouraged. To RSVP for the panel discussion, visit Ace Hotel New Orleans' website.
