Exclusive Events and Rare Bottles at The Sazerac House
The Sazerac House invites you to commemorate the end of production on their Sazerac de Forge Cognac with a special tasting event and cocktail classes.
An Evening with Sazerac
On November 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., The Sazerac House will host "An Evening with Sazerac," an exclusive event with drink offerings from brands like Blanton's Bourbon and Sazerac de Forge Cognac. This event will be one of the public's last chances to both try and purchase Sazerac de Forge due to its limited run. Along with pours of rare drink selections, tickets to this event include canapés from Brennan's.
Tickets for this event can be purchased alone or as a bundle with a bottle of Sazerac de Forge & Fils Finest Original cognac included. Bundle tickets are $150 before taxes, a regular ticket is $30 before taxes, and both can be purchased online.
Season of Sazerac Class
The Sazerac House will also host a limited-time class focused on cognac and its intertwined history with the Sazerac cocktail. Participants will learn how to make a French 75 cocktail and get to taste various cocktails made with the limited-time Sazerac de Forge Cognac. Classes will be held on Wednesday and Friday from December 4 through 27, excluding Christmas Day. Tickets are $45 per person before taxes and can be booked online.
The Sazerac is a uniquely New Orleans cocktail with a rich history all the way back to the late 1800s. For more information about The Sazerac House, visit their website sazerachouse.com or find them on Facebook and Instagram (@sazerachouse).
