Rockin'1000 Come to New Orleans

The "Biggest Rock Band on Earth" is headed to the United States for the very first time.

Rockin'1000, the world-famous collective of 1,000 musicians performing together in epic harmony, will make its long-awaited U.S. debut on January 31, 2026, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The one-night-only event, which will start at 8 p.m., will unite 1,000 singers and instrumentalists—from guitarists and drummers to a full horns section—in a historic performance celebrating the spirit of rock and the soul of New Orleans.

"To bring Rockin'1000 to the United States, the birthplace of rock 'n' roll, is a dream we've had for years," said Fabio Zaffagnini, the founder of Rockin'1000, in a press release. "For one unforgettable night, we'll create an emotional connection that unites musicians, families, and fans alike. I can't wait to share this experience and expand our global community of music lovers."

What began in 2015 as a viral stunt in Cesena, Italy—1,000 musicians performing a Foo Fighters tribute—has evolved into a global movement that has encompassed over 100,000 musicians, 20 countries, and hundreds of millions of online views.

Walt Leger III, president & CEO of New Orleans & Company, expressed pride in hosting the group's North American debut. "New Orleans has one of the most vibrant music scenes in the world. This event will showcase the city's deep musical heritage while introducing a new kind of performance-based tourism that connects people through culture and sound."

Originating in New Orleans, Cowboy Mouth has over the last 30 years consistently combined a multitude of musical genres—rock, blues, punk, funk, and country—to create its unique sound.

In addition to this opening feature, Rockin'1000 will be inviting special local performers to bring this immersive musical experience to life:

  • Harry Connick Jr.
  • Cowboy Mouth
  • DJ Captain Charles
  • Dumpstaphunk
  • Bonerama

  • The Rumble with Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux
