Celebrating Community at the Orpheum Theatre.
InspireNOLA will host "A Night of Comedy - Love & Conversations" on Saturday, November 16 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater.
The event, hosted by Tanya Boyd Cannon, will center around a celebration of New Orleans teachers, parents, and community leaders, as well as feature the talents of comedian and television host Rickey Smiley. The lineup also includes unique comedy sets from Riga Ruby, Frank White, 2RealMacDatFree, and Shaddy Feel Good, as well as musical performances by DJ Jubilee and Partners N Crime.
The event will be 21+ only and tickets are free, but limited to the capacity of the venue. Visit Lil Dizzy's Café at 1500 Esplanade Ave. in New Orleans to pick up the tickets early—first come, first served! For more info, check out the event page.
InspireNOLA & NOLALove
The organization, founded in 2013, operates a network of seven different New Orleans public charter schools and has grown to become the nation's largest Black-founded and led charter management group. NolaLOVE is an initiative created by the InspireNOLA organization as a response to the youth crisis in New Orleans. The program advocates for services related to academic success, community, family wellness, and mental health.
