Free Vaccines for Furry Friends
Petco Love, a national nonprofit organization, is set to reach a significant milestone in its Vaccinated and Loved campaign by distributing its three millionth free pet vaccine. This momentous event will take place in New Orleans on Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 500 N. Norman C Francis Pkwy.
The campaign, launched in August 2021, aims to protect pets from deadly yet preventable diseases such as parvovirus and distemper in dogs, as well as panleukopenia in cats. By offering free vaccination clinics, Petco Love has been instrumental in supporting families facing financial hardships and ensuring the health and well-being of their beloved pets.
At the event, representatives from Petco Love, Merck Animal Health, the Louisiana SPCA, and the LSU Community Outreach Vet will be available for interviews. They will discuss the campaign's impact on pet health and its support for the community.
