Hunting for Easter Treasure
The New Orleans Museum of Art is hosting their annual family
egg hunt on Saturday, March 23. This fun for the whole family event will start at
10 a.m. and run through 1 p.m. at NOMA's Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
The museum will be hiding 20,000 eggs throughout the
expansive sculpture garden for kids to search for. The search parties will be
divided into two age categories: kids four and younger and kids five and older.
The egg hunt will not only include the search for treat
filled eggs, but will also include arts and crafts, face painting, music, and more. Parents
will be happy to note that adult beverages will be available. There will also
be a family portrait photographer, Polo Silk, to document the fun and chaos of
the day.
The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden is a staple
outdoor space for tourists and locals alike and offers diverse art, gorgeous landscapes, and a pleasant stroll all year round. See the sculpture garden come
to life with your kids this Easter season!
Tickets will be $20 at the door and children under two get
in for free to enjoy this memorable day of egg hunting and exploration.
