New Orleans Nightmare, located at 319 Butterworth St., has announced a kickoff to the Halloween season. Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group announced that New Orlean's premiere halloween event will be returning to "America's most haunted city."
The much anticipated return of New Orleans Nightmare kicked off this Halloween season and will be open on select nights until Saturday, November 4.

Previously known as the House of Shock, this haunted Halloween tradition will take visitors through a frightening experience with plenty of thrills.
"New Orleans Nightmare returns with three all-new themes and a few new surprises that will show you why New Orleans truly is America's most haunted city and the best place to celebrate Halloween... We look forward to welcoming you back!" says Chris Stafford, CEO & Founding Partner states.
Haunted house lovers can expect three new attraction themes, which are, The Deadlands, Repossessed and Midnight Mortuary: Blood Ritual. These themes have new storylines and fresh maze routes, this year's themes are sure to keep visitors on their toes.
Guests will also have the opportunity to add on additional experiences, including Mini Escape Games, Phobia and the new Shot In The Dark secret bar. Bar 13 will be returning with spooky libations for guests 21 and up to enjoy before and after their haunting experience.
There will also be a number of local food trucks on site. The season will finish off on November 4 with the infamous "Blackout," where thrill-seekers can go through the haunted house in total darkness, with nothing but one glow stick to guide their group's journey.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $19.99 on select nights, also, this event may be too intense for children under 12.
