Six Concerts to Celebrate Contemporary Jazz in January
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation has announced upcoming performances for the 2024 Jazz & Heritage Concert Series. This concert series, which will be held at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center, in New Orleans celebrates contemporary jazz.
The concert series will include performances by Gladney, Stephen Lands, Jasen Weaver Sextet, Christien Bold, James Singleton Malabar, and Roland Guerin. These performances will be taking place throughout the month of January beginning on Friday, January 5 and ending on Saturday, January 20.
Tickets for all of these performances are available now and are all priced at $10. All of the proceeds from the concert series will benefit the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation.
The doors open at 7 p.m. with the performance beginning at 8 p.m. Seating is limited general admission. The concert series performances will be livestreamed on the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's website, YouTube channel, and Facebook page.
