The Return of NOEW
New Orleans Entrepreneur Week will be returning for the 13th year in 2024 from March 11 until March 16. At NOEW, attendees can expect forward-thinking speakers, world-renowned business and startup leaders, networking opportunities, plus new exciting elements of the event and more.
NOEW has announced that the 2024 event dates will be aligning with the dates of the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University. The partnership between the two programs will allow for a unique experience of new thinking, intellectual pursuits, and professional opportunities.
New Orleans Entrepreneur Week is annually hosted by The Idea Village, which is a business accelerator. NOEW has been bringing together startup founders, business leaders, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors for over 10 years. The week-long event facilitates economic innovation within the Gulf South and is a hub for individuals to celebrate innovation, technology, culture, and bright ideas.
The week will be hosted at various venues throughout New Orleans. On March 13, NOEW will take place at Gallier Hall and will be full of panels, speakers, and discussions.
On March 14, the annual "IDEApitch" competition will take place on Tulane's campus before the New Orleans Book Festival's opening keynote speaker. IDEApitch is a popular NOEW event that features new companies competing for an investment prize.
There will also be a new "venture summit" event in the middle of the week for local, and non-local, startups and investors.
As NOEW kicks off on Monday, March 11, the Book Fest will start on the following Thursday. Thursday, March 14, will be the "crossover day," which will feature programs by both NOEW and New Orleans Book Festival.
The New Orleans Book Festival will take place on March 14 and lasts until March 16. The event will present readings, panel discussions, and keynote speakers. There will also be a full day of programs dedicated to New Orleans children and families. These family programs aim to promote literacy and raise awareness for the resources and opportunities that are available to New Orleans' youth.
