Rock & Metalcore Unite
Three Americans bands, NERV, The World Alive, and Memphis May Fire, united to get the crowd hyped during the Asking Alexandria concert at The Fillmore New Orleans on April 14.
NERV is an alternative pop/rock band from Sacramento, California that incorporates metal, electronic, and hip hop into its sound. In addition to releasing their debut album We're All Patients Here in 2022, the band also just released their brand new single "Upside Down" in 2024.
The World Alive is a metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona that has seven studio albums under its belt. The band's debut album Deceiver, which was released in 2010, was able to chart the Billboard 200 at No. 97.
Memphis May Fire, from Denton, Texas, is another metalcore band, which is a genre that mainly incorporates elements of hardcore punk and extreme metal. The band has seven studio albums, and its 2014 album Unconditional even made it to No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
