New Orleans Museum Month

From August 1 to 31, 24 museums of all sizes across New Orleans are collaborating for the city's annual New Orleans Museum Month. With one membership to a participating museum, guests can enjoy free access to two dozen local New Orleans museums.

Participating museums will include:

  • Ashe Cultural Arts Center

  • Confederate Memorial Hall Museum

  • Contemporary Arts Center

  • Friends of the Cabildo

Stop by the National WWII Museum this August to expand your knowledge of American history and engage with 11 riveting exhibits, a 4D theater, and an interactive submarine experience.

If you're looking to explore your artistic side, the New Orleans Museum of Art offers countless exhibits that take guests through a journey of art through time. Beyond its expansive collections, the New Orleans Museum of Art boasts a 12-acre sculpture garden, indoor wellness classes, and a small plate café.
