Funk Icon Goes Acoustic in the Big Easy
New Orleans native and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Leo Nocentelli will be headlining "Another Side: a Live Acoustic Reintroduction" on November 22 at the Civic Theatre.
This concert, which will take place at 8 p.m., is a celebration of the re-release of his album Another Side and will feature the talents of multiple music icons who have a connection to New Orleans and the musical styles of Nocentelli.

This acoustic concert is focused on intimate performances that bring out a new and unforgettable side of Nocentelli's music. Along with appearances from performers including Ray Parker Jr., Anders Osborne, Stanton Moore, and Jason Neville, this concert will also have a round table discussion hosted by New Orleans TV journalist Arthel Neville.

Nocentelli is best known for his role as a founding member and lead guitarist of the funk band The Meters. Throughout his musical career, he has worked with famous artists such as Dr. John, Etta James, and Trombone Shorty.
