Jewish Children's Regional Services (JCRS) will bring back its long-awaited "Latkes with a Twist."
Heralded as the Washington Post's top 10 Hanukkah parties in the U.S., "Latkes with a Twist" is a community-wide celebration featuring Jewish cuisine, live music, and cocktails. This year marks its eighth-year anniversary of ringing in the Hanukkah season.
The event will be on Sunday, December 11 at Press Station Street, located in the bohemian Faubourg Marigny neighborhood. Guests can expect "Dan-Dan Latkes" made by Dan Stein of Stein's Deli & Market, and Dan Esses of Rimon at Tulane Hillel; live music by local band Joe Gelini Trio, and an open bar. Sip on specialty cocktails such as a Vodka Latke Punch, a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned, and a Hanukkah Hi-Ball.
Get your tickets for $36 at jcrs.org/events/latkes-with-a-twist, or simply get them at the door for $42. For more information about "Latkes with a Twist," visit jcrs.org or call 504-828-6334.
