Krewe de Pink's Death by Chocolate
Every October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is celebrated around the country to raise awareness for those affected by breast cancer. Here in New Orleans, a special non-profit is doing exactly that—with chocolate.
Krewe de Pink is gearing up for their seventh annual Death by Chocolate…NOT Breast Cancer fundraiser on October 3 at the Schoen Mansion. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Krewe de Pink invites you to an evening of chocolate tasting, featuring champagne pairings for guests 21 and over.

What to Expect
The Death by Chocolate…NOT Breast Cancer fundraiser will be hosted at the Schoen Mansion, located at 3827 Canal St., from 6:00 pm to 9 p.m. on October 3. The evening will feature a silent auction and a live culinary competition where local chefs will present their chocolate treats. Chefs will prepare both sweet and savory dishes influenced by chocolate flavors for a chance to win first place, second place, and people's choice awards.
Tickets for the event are now available on Krewe de Pink's website. General admission is $60, and VIP admission is $100. Guests should come dressed in fun and festive cocktail attire. Boas and wigs are suggested, and the color pink is highly encouraged.
The proceeds from the Death by Chocolate…NOT Breast Cancer fundraiser will go to the Tulane Cancer Center. If you can't make this event, or if chocolate just isn't your thing, Krewe de Pink encourages you to donate to their cause in support of their fight against breast cancer.
