Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Parade
The Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club will be hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day parade on March 14, 2026.
Get ready to show out in green, white, and orange to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in a very classic New Orleans way—with a parade!

What to Expect
The parade will take place the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, which is on Tuesday, March 17. Start celebrating early on March 14 by securing a parade viewing spot by the event's start at 1 p.m.
The parade will begin where Magazine Street meets Felicity Street. Turning right on Jackson Avenue, the parade will progress down the road until turning left on St. Charles Avenue. After turning left on Louisiana Avenue, the procession will make a left again and return to Magazine Street.
The parade will conclude after turning right onto Jackson Avenue, stopping on the corner of Annunciation Street. Take advantage of the route and and stop for food or coffee along Magazine Street with options such as Dat Dog and District Donuts.
Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club
Organized in 1947, the Irish Channel has grown to host over 1,400 members. The members often attend a pre-parade mass, which precedes their parade kick-off where hundreds of men are in formal attire.
It is a more recent development for the club to engage in fundraising. Over time, they have come to expand what it means to be a member. It is more than the parade, it is a chance for unity derived from shared heritage and generosity.

What Else Can You Celebrate With the Club?
The club organizes more than their St. Patrick's Day parade. Golf and bowling tournaments, luncheons, and block parties are all perks of being involved with the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club.
The organization is also involved in charitable activities, such as fundraising for the Special Olympics, Crohn's research, and distributing Thanksgiving food baskets.
