The Idea Village is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded on the principle of supporting regional startups and the big thinkers that power them, based in New Orleans. Their mission is to foster success for the people of the community and support their passions. This fall, the Idea Village will host the "IdeaInstitute," a program that will enhance the education of business fundamentals for entrepreneurs.
The Fall 2023 IdeaInstitue
The IdeaInstitute is a 10 week long hybrid program that allows entrepreneurs to gain a deeper understanding of business fundamentals that will ultimately help transform their idea into thriving companies.
From the week of September 4 through November 26, attendees of the Institute will participate in weekly sessions with focus on the "Lean Startup Methodology." Further, they will create connections with a vast community of like-minded entrepreneurs, engage with experts in coaching sessions, and network with fellow peers and business leaders. Attendees will also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas at "Pitch Night."
The program is lead by Professor Felipe Massa, Ph.D. Through the program, attendees will be able to walk away with the confidence and skills necessary to enact their business plan.
