An Opportunity for Local New Startups
The Idea Village, a New Orleans nonprofit made to support regional startups and entrepreneurs, is now accepting applications for their VILLAGEx 2023 program, which will guide startup founders on their path to turn their idea into a full-scale venture. Applications will remain open through Nov. 11, and can be accessed here.
A Chance for Startups to Get Connected
VILLAGEx 2023 will be led by The Idea Village's new program director Megan Balch, who has over ten years of hands-on experience with building startups from the ground up. Balch will mentor accepted companies and lead them towards resources needed to succeed. The intensive program will run from January to May 2023, and companies will move through the process as a cohort, allowing them to learn from the program's mentors as well as each other.
VILLAGEx is looking to accept applicants that have proven potential for high-growth, are innovative in their efforts to serve new markets, incorporate technology in their process, and show potential to revolutionize a specific industry.
