16th Annual Horses, Hops, & Cops
The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation will be presenting the 16th annual Horses, Hops, & Cops benefit for the New Orleans Police Department Mounted Unit.
On February 4 at the N.O.P.D Stables in City Park, guests of all ages are invited to attend this event and show their appreciation for those who protect our city.

The Event
Tickets to the benefit event, taking place on the first Wednesday of February, are available for general admission and VIP access. General admission is from 5 to 8 p.m., and VIP tickets, which include a tour experience, takes place 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. General admission tickets are free of charge, and VIP tickets are $50 for children and $100 for adults.
A Budweiser Clydesdale handler will host a one hour guided tour to share with guests the operations behind the venue's horse quarters. VIP guests will receive a tour of the N.O.P.D stables and a K-9 demonstration. In addition to these features, the event will also include an equestrian soccer game featuring city officers, live entertainment, arts and crafts, and food for purchase.
Once general admission begins, guests are invited to explore the stables on a self-guided tour while a DJ performance and announcements ensue. The equestrian soccer game will begin at 5:15 p.m. in the Sheriff's Office Horse Arena.
An hour later at 6:15 p.m., the Budweiser Clydesdales will make there arena appearence. First introduced in celebration after the repeal of prohibition, these horses travel the country for significant events, including Super Bowl commercials.
At 7:55 p.m., those who entered into the event's raffle will report to the Budweiser Stage for the drawing of winners to conclude the night.
Parking is available along Magnolia Drive, with free spots and a shuttle service in operation.

Louisiana Hospitality Foundation
Since its establishment in 2006, the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation strives to strengthen the hospitality industry through support from community individuals. Donations are accepted and grants can be applied for by Louisiana citizens of emergent circumstances.
Donations are received via events and online contributions and are then added to the education and crisis grant programs. The foundation hosts events in addition to Horses, Hops, & Cops such as galas, luncheons, and more.
