On Sunday, October 2, the Sazerac House celebrated their 3rd Birthday with a huge bash! Guests who toured the gorgeous 3-story facility were also treated to cake pops by Sugar & Spice Twice NOLA, music by DJ Ann Glaviano of the HEATWAVE! dance party, and Herbsaint chocolates by Piety & Desire.
The tour of the 48,000 square foot Sazerac House is complimentary, and includes three samples of delicious Sazerac inspired cocktails (lemonade is available for those who do not drink), and tons of gorgeous exhibits showcasing the history of New Orleans' favorite cocktail through video presentations, interactive exhibits (including one where you can smell aromatics used in bitters), and lots of historical memorabilia dating back hundreds of years.
There's an on-site Sazerac Rye distillery, and Peychaud's Bitters production facility. There's also a gift shop where you can purchase your favorite cocktail-inspired goodies.
