This year is the 12th Annual Thriller Halloween Flash Mob, put on by Flash Mob New Orleans. The Thriller Halloween Flash Mob is a New Orleans tradition that's filled with zombies dancing to Micheal Jackson's classic Halloween song "Thriller".

On Wednesday, October 25, there will be a free "Thriller" dance class hosted at the Schramel Conservatory of Dance on 920 Terpsichore St. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., attendees can learn the Thriller choreography and perform in the Thriller Halloween Flash Mob, which will take place on Halloween day at noon. This dance class is free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, October 31 at noon, the 12th Annual Thriller Halloween Flash Mob will take place. The exact location of the flash mob is to be revealed. This year's mob dancers will feature students from Homer Plessy School, Kipp Morial, Anne Burr Dance Studio, Xavier University, Chic Nouvelle Model & Talent, Spotlight Dance, Schaumburg School, Pierre A Capdau, and Schramel Conservatory of Dance.

After the flash mob, there will be a dance-off competition and the winner will receive tickets to MJ the Musical. From November 1 until November 12, MJ the Musical will be making its debut at the The Saenger Theatre.
