Formed in 1999, New York, New York based Gogol Bordello have been going strong for years. Eugene Hütz (lead vocals and guitars) and Sergey Ryabtsev (violin, backing vocals) are the longest surviving members of the band. With all the personnel changes over the years, the band hasn't wavered in their passion and intensity. There aren't enough adjectives to describe how powerful a Gogol live performance is. If you aren't moving around, you just aren't getting what's going on. It's organized chaos at it's best. Thursday night's show at the House of Blues was packed and the band fed on every drop of energy the crowd gave them. Not straying away from politics, the evenings' objective was on display for all to see and the crowd respected the band for the support.
