Local Legends to Headline
Get ready to groove at the second annual NOLA Funk Fest, happening from October 18 through 20 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. This year's festival boasts a daily lineup featuring funk legends and other well known local favorites.
The recently released daily lineup is set to electrify the stage, starting Friday with nationally acclaimed musicians like Soul Project from 2 to 3 p.m., George Porter Jr. & the Runnin' Pardners from 7 to 8 p.m., bounce queen Big Freedia from 8 to 9:30 p.m., and more.
George Porter Jr. and Leo Nocentelli, joined by Stanton Moore and Ivan Neville, will also be bringing the music of the Meters to life on Saturday from 8 to 9:30 p.m., promising an unforgettable night performance. Other performances taking place that day will be Tribal Gold with Big Chief Juan Pardo from 4 to 5 p.m., Dumpstaphunk from 6 to 7 p.m., The Soul Rebels from 7 to 8 p.m. and more.
To cap off the three-day festival on Sunday, the Tank and the Bangas, an award-winning hip hop funk group, are scheduled to deliver a stellar, soul-touching musical experience from 8 to 9:30 p.m. for all festival-goers to enjoy. Festival-goers will also be able to enjoy will also be able to enjoy Omari Neville from 3 to 4 p.m., Erica Falls & Vintage Soul from 5 to 6 p.m., Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen from 6 to 7 p.m., and more fantastic acts on Sunday.

The three-day festival gives guests a chance to enjoy acclaimed musical performances and rich historical exhibits, along with art vendors, food tents, and festival merchandise. Tickets are available for advanced purchase online, with general admission starting at $40 and VIP tickets ranging from $130 to $900. To ensure that NOLA Funk Fest is a family-friendly event, children 10 and under enjoy free admission, and children ages 11 to 15 can enjoy the festival for only $5.
