Free Holiday Concert in NOLA
Head over to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel in the Garden District this year on Thursday, December 17 at 7 p.m. for a free Christmas concert.
The concert will have a variety of holiday songs, including Christmas carol sing-a-longs, and will feature New Orleans Opera tenor Casey Candebat. Directly after the concert, attendees can enjoy refreshments at the beautiful Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, a historic Catholic Church that was dedicated in 1894. Known as the "most precious jewel in the crown known as the Garden District," there is truly no better place to enjoy some music and get into the holiday spirit.
The Our Lady of Good Counsel Church is located in the Good Shepherd Parish, which also includes the Basilica of St. Stephen and the Church of St. Henry. The Christmas concert will be free and open to the general public. Donations will benefit the church directly and help facilitate its upkeep. More information can be found by calling (504) 782-3323.
