Four Fun NOLA Events to Attend This Weekend

First up, the 37th annual Bacchus Bash will be tearing up Generations Hall on February 27. This epic, 14-hour long party, which proceeds the renowned Bacchus parade, will be kicking off at noon and will feature The Molly Ringwalds, The TopCats, Category 6, as well as a full slate of local and nationally renowned EDM DJs. The event will be taking place both indoors and outdoors, and showcase several stages with DJs including Manni Fresh, DJ Crespo, DJ Wixx, and DJ TAF. Next up is the Rhythm on the Route: The Mardi Gras Battle of the Bands. Middle and high school bands "battle it out" as they march along Veteran's Memorial Boulevard. A panel of judges determines 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and winners will receive prizes of up to $3,000. There will be two Battle of the Bands performances during the weekend of the 27: one during the ISIS Krewe of Isis on Saturday the 26 and the other is Sunday the 27 at the Krewe of Athena. visitjeffersonparish.com/events

The 26th annual Zulu Lundi Gras Festival will take place February 28 in Woldenberg Park. This free event is hosted by the 800 members of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club and is a fun and exciting day full of food, music, arts and crafts. There will be three stages featuring local, world-renowned and Grammy award winning entertainers. VIP tickets, which include all day reserved seating in front of the King Zulu Stage, along with food, drinks, and air-conditioned bathrooms, are available. lundigrasfestival.com

If you're looking for a fun way to watch Endymion on Saturday the 26th, Felipe's Endymion Party will be taking place from 2 to 9 p.m. The restaurant's private patio overlooks Carrollton Avenue and will feature a complimentary taco bar. Guests will receive two complimentary drink tickets, which can be used for house margaritas, sangria, and beer. Wristbands are $100 each and the event capacity is limited to only 60 people. 411 N.
