Calling all educators in the Greater New Orleans area for this three-day opportunity presented by Dress for Success New Orleans. From July 11-13, female teachers and administrators are asked to come to gain one more professional outfit to their wardrobe for free. The event will take place at 1700 Josephine St, New Orleans, LA 70130, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Dress for Success New Orleans is a nonprofit that provides women with the attire, advice and tools to obtain successful careers. They are supported by a network of volunteers, corporate partners, and individual donors in order to ensure every woman gains economic freedom and confidence in her journey to a professional job.
The organization believes heavily in teachers' value to the community and started Back-to-School Teacher's Appreciation Week to support them.
This is the second time they are hosting this event, and will have a variety of suits, skirts, dresses, handbags, jewelry and cosmetics to choose from. Recommendations and fashion advice for professional attire will also be ready on demand by the Dress for Success staff.
This shopping experience is one to run to right before the school bells start ringing in August.
