Destrehan Plantation's 51st Annual Fall Festival will be taking place on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Full-day admission for an adult or teen will cost $9.00, $5.00 for children six to 12 years of age and free admission for children five years old and under.

This year's festival will have over 160 arts and crafts vendors. These arts and craft vendors will be showcasing and selling handcrafted items such as eclectic woodwork, leather goods, scented candles, original jewelry, Louisiana themed prints, canvas paintings and unique houseware items. The mule barn will allure the antique collectors with its distinctive pieces from antique dealers throughout Louisiana.
A variety of cajun and creole food dishes will be available to choose from, such as cochon de lait po-boys, shrimp and grits, shrimp po-boys, BBQ sandwiches, nachos and homemade sausage. Attendees will be able to dine in the picnic area while enjoying live entertainment.
On Saturday, Kayla Woodson will be performing from 10 a.m. to noon and Ryan Foret & amp; Foret Tradition performs from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, Peyton Falgoust Band will be performing on 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There will be tours of the plantation home, led by historical interpreters, throughout the day for an additional $15 per person and free for children 12 and under.
Activities for children will include pony rides, building stuffed animals, interactive games and fall themed arts and crafts.
Destrehan Fall Festival
The River Road Historical Society conducts business through Destrehan Plantation and is a small, non-profit organization. The fall festival is the organization's major fundraiser.
Parking is free on the property, there will also be parking available on the levee and Bridge Park.
