Which Celebrities Might be in NOLA?

With the Super Bowl LIX just around the corner, New Orleans is gearing up for a weekend full of glamorous events, concerts, entertainment experiences, and a star-studded crowd.

Musicians, influencers, athletes, and celebrities alike are expected to join the fun in New Orleans for the much anticipated weekend, so here are some well-known people who may be coming to the Big Easy for Super Bowl weekend.

Celebrities with Ties to New Orleans

Some celebrities with known ties to New Orleans include Jennifer Coolidge, Beyoncé, and John Goodman, who could all show up to enjoy the festivities of the weekend. Lana Del Rey could also pay the city a surprise visit for the big game, especially since her recent marriage to a man from Des Allemands, Louisiana.

Performers Doing Shows in New Orleans

We know we can expect to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA as they are set for an unforgettable performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. Jon Batiste is also supposed to be at the game to perform the national anthem.

Other stars who are scheduled to perform include Post Malone for a show on Friday night at the Fillmore, 50 Cent on Saturday night for a comedy show at the Mahalia Jackson Theater, and T-Pain for the Captain Morgan "Rum Street" takeover on Saturday night.

Cardi B, Travis Scott, Shaq, and Ludacris are some of the other artists who have confirmed that they will be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl weekend.

Stars from Kansas City or Fans of the Chiefs

Taylor Swift has been seen attending Chiefs games all season and will undoubtedly attend the big game to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Swift is expected to bring a group of friends along with her, as she has done at many games in the past.

Some of these stars may include Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and Selena Gomez, as they have attended games with her in the past. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were in New Orleans for "The Eras" Tour and are well known friends of Taylor Swift, so they are likely to come for this big weekend.

Other well known Chiefs fans include Paul Rudd, Brad Pitt, Janelle Monae, and Don Cheadle, who could all make an appearance to cheer on their favorite team at the Superdome.

Stars from Philadelphia or Fans of the Eagles

Celebrities who grew up in Philadelphia or are simply die hard Eagles fans are expected at the game after the team earned their spot in the game by defeating the Washington Commanders.

Lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan Kevin Hart is known for his loud and loving support for the Philadelphia based team and could come to New Orleans for the game. In 2018, Kevin Hart famously tried to join the stage during the teams trophy presentation to show his undying support.

Kevin Bacon, Philadelphia native and proud Eagles supporter, is also likely to make an appearance. He expresses his love for the city of Philadelphia and the Eagles team in his song, "Philly Thing." Similarly to Bacon, Will Smith is a long-time supporter of the Eagles and famously penned a hype poem for the team ahead of their Super Bowl LII victory.
