Authors Neal Bodenheimer and Emily Timberlake Launch New Book at the Sazerac House
The Sazerac House on Magazine Street is hosting a book launch for Cure: New Orleans Drinks and How to Mix 'Em. Cocktails found in the book are based on the James Beard Award-winning New Orleans bar, Cure. There will be complimentary food and drinks at the event, including cocktails from the book for customers to try. In addition, Sazerac House will be selling copies of the book on-site, where both authors will sign each purchased book.
Bodenheimer founded the New Orleans based bar Cure back in 2009, which has since found great success and has inspired a revitalization of craft cocktail culture in the city. He now serves as a board member of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, which hosts an annual cocktail conference here in New Orleans. Co-author of Cure: New Orleans Drinks and How to Mix 'Em, Emily Timberlake, is an Oakland-based writer and editor, and has edited over ten James Beard Award-winning cookbooks.
