Local Drag Queen to Perform in NOLA
New Orleans native and winner of RuPaul's Drag Race's sixth season Bianca Del Rio has announced her latest comedy stand-up tour "Dead Inside," which will cover 60 locations in the U.S. and Canada from February to May 2024.
Del Rio's tour will hit the Mahalia Jackson Theater on April 24, 2024. Tickets for the show are currently available on the Mahalia Jackson Theater's website or Bianca's official website. You can also purchase tickets at the Saenger Theatre box office at 1111 Canal St., open Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m. Alongside general admission tickets, two VIP packages will be offered for purchase.
As her sixth major tour, it will humorously delve into topics such as politics, pop culture, political correctness, current events, cancel culture, and everyday life from the perspective of someone who embraces humor despite feeling "dead inside."
Audiences can anticipate the beloved "clown in a gown" to grace the stage once more, delivering the same rapid wit and cutting humor they adore. A seasoned entertainer, Bianca is skilled at engaging the crowd, promising plentiful interaction between the comedic icon and her audience. With a microphone in hand, the "Joan Rivers of the Drag World" ensures that no one is spared from her comedic prowess.
"Dead Inside" comes on the heels of Bianca's highly successful comedy tours "Unsanitized," where she entertained sold-out crowds in 99 cities across 27 countries, and "It's Jester Joke," where she made history as the first drag queen to headline and sell out both Wembley Arena and Carnegie Hall.
