Bastille Day Fête: July 14 at the Alliance Française
Prepare to celebrate Bastille Day with a Spectacular Fête at Alliance Française of New Orleans on Friday, July 14. At this celebration, all attendees are able to indulge in the vibrant spirit and culture of France from 6pm to 12 am.
At the Alliance Française, attendees of all ages can expect an unforgettable experience of entertainment, delicious food, and fun activities. The Bastille Day Fête includes fun for the whole family—with a plethora of kids activities such as face painting to arts and crafts.
Entertainment will include a once in a lifetime lineup of renowned French-inspired New Orleans musicians and bands. The lineup will include Anaïs St. John and Pardon My French playing a beautiful blend of jazz for the guests. After the live performances, get ready to dance the night away during the late night French and international music inspired DJ set.
Savor all the French food you can from vendors such as the French Stall and La Petite RougeCamionette. Indulge in classic French delicacies such as crêpes, croissants, and quiches. In addition, there are many local and vegetarian options expertly crafted by local vendors.
There will be a selection of beverages at the BCI partnership cash bar, including Bonneté, Urban South, and Happy Raptor Distillery. Enjoy an assortment of fine wines, signature cocktails, and refreshing beverages that perfectly complement the festive atmosphere.
Grab a chance at winning AFNO swag by showing off your French flair by dressing up in your best French character-themed costumes in the Costume Contest. This year, the AFNO is honored to host Nathalie Beras, Consul General of France in Louisiana, at the Bastille Day Fête. Her attendance further emphasizes the importance of this event in celebrating the rich cultural ties between France and Louisiana.
