French cuisine, fine wines, and dancing under the stars is only the start of the festivities this day, which is one of the largest fundraising events of the year for the Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans. Since 1984, the organization has served as a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the French language and Francophone cultures in the Gulf South Region.
This family-friendly event will be held on Friday, July 11 from 4 to 10 p.m. on 1519 Jackson Ave. You'll get to divulge in a curated selection of local food vendors including cheese, crepes, charcuterie, macarons, ice cream, and more. Live music and DJs will play throughout the evening as you engage, connect and celebrate French culture.
Music & Entertainment
The main music entertainment will feature Les Provocateur and Elijah Hartman and his band. Les Provocateur is described as a high-energy band that blends French chanson with contemporary pop, jazz, and rock, while New Orleans vocalist Elijah Hartman and his band will bring a vibrant, globe-spanning energy to music of Beninese artist Angélique Kidjo.
Ticketing & Pricing
General admission for this event is $15 per person and is available to purchase online until July 10. There is a $20 general admission at the door. Kids' tickets are $10 for all ages. All proceeds of this event support the education and cultural mission of the Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans.
