The Orpheum Theater is set to host the highly anticipated 2023 Opus Ball on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Presented by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the Opus Ball promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, food, and celebration.
This year's Opus Ball will be hosted by Mark Romig and will feature Honorary Chairs Dr. Stephen and Nancy Hales. The event will be a special occasion to thank Carlos Miguel Prieto, the Adelaide Wisdom Benjamin Music Director and Principal Conductor, for his seventeen years of service to the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
The evening will begin with a patron party at 5:30 p.m., followed by a seated dinner at 6:00 p.m. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature a performance by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, playing music by Copland, alongside special guests Jon Cleary and Tank and the Bangas. It promises to be a night of entertainment and celebration that you will not want to miss.
Limited tickets are available for the concert-only portion of the evening, with seating limited to the balcony. Black tie is optional, and dinner will be provided by Bella Luna Catering.
