The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Summer concert Series is underway!
Every summer the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation offers a great selection of concerts. This concert series features local musicians and is sure to be a fun way to escape the heat and enjoy some excellent music.
If you've never been to this venue, you need to check it out. It's a perfect spot to sit back and watch some of the city's most talented musicians do their thing.
What are the concerts for the Jazz and Heritage Summer Concert Series?
Here's a quick look at the remaining shows for the concert series.
On Saturday, June 25, Tuba Skinny plays. This traditional street band has a great big sound and is a mix of early jazz, ragtime, and blues.
Come out for a swinging good time on July 9 to hear Gal Holiday & the Honky Tonk Revue. This band plays a little country, a little Americana, and some rockabilly too.
Next up is Arséne DeLay on July 16. DeLay is a talented, diverse artist who performs a combination of jazz, R & B, blues, funk, and folk.
Finishing up the series will be Lynn Drury on July 23 with her NOLAmericana music, which is sure to get your foot tapping.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and shows begin promptly at 8:00 p.m. Just a note that seating is limited so be sure to get your tickets here ahead of time.
