“You’re fired!” Apparently the Donald has uttered those famous words again.

Trump has parted ways with his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.

"The Donald J. Trump Campaign for President, which has set a historic record in the Republican primary having received almost 14 million votes, has today announced that Corey Lewandowski will no longer be working with the campaign,” said spokeswoman Hope Hicks in an announcement.

Lewandowski, who faced misdemeanor assault charges in April, seemed to be in hot water all too often. He was said to have been at odds with the chief strategist Paul Manafort, often blocking Manafort’s hires.

However, when asked how he would handle the assault in April, Trump stood by him, saying, “I don’t discard people. I stay with people.” Two months later, Trump has done the exact opposite. With the Republican National Convention fast approaching, it seems as if Trump’s campaign may be dismantling.
