Wolf 'n' Swallow Presents Their Latest Pop-Up Dinner "Speakeasy"

18:18 October 14, 2016

Wolf ‘n’ Swallow is a “dinner speakeasy” pop-up that brings to you the delicious and eclectic cuisine of Chef Houla and the drinks and charm of hostess Jennifer Jane. Typical to the underground theme of a speakeasy, these dinner pop-ups take place in a different hidden location every month, usually in the French Quarter near Armstrong Park. Houla and Jennifer plan their events with the goal of creating “a more homey, intimate and family-style atmosphere with a dash of attitude,” and they do not disappoint. On Thursday October 13, they hosted their latest dinner at Mister Gregory’s Café on Rampart Street. The meal was a five-course South East Asian-inspired feast, which featured an Indian Deviled Egg, Faux Pho, Massaman Curry with coconut Jasmine rice, a Korean BBQ Taco, and Thai Black Rice Pudding for dessert. The tasty dishes were accompanied by Jennifer’s cocktail creation, with flavors of lemongrass, ginger and coconut.

If you’re hoping to catch one of these fun, mysterious and appetizing dinner pop-ups, follow the Wolf ‘n’ Swallow Facebook page to see where and when the next event will occur.
