Willie Nelson is on the road again,
and he's headed straight for New Orleans! With Louisiana on his mind, Willie
Nelson and Family are coming to the Saenger Theater on November 16.
Whether you're a country music fan
or not, you know about Willie Nelson and his impressive career. The Texas born
star rose to iconic status at the end of the 1960s through his outlaw style
tunes. Nelson truly created his own lane of country throughout his
award-winning career. Recently, he has delivered over a dozen albums, a Top 10
Best Sellers book, and has been honored by the Library of Congress with the
Gershwin Prize for Popular Song; not to mention all the headlining tours and
music festivals he has participated in!
Nelson is known for his gift of
storytelling through music. In September of 2020, he released a memoire titled Me
and My Sister Bobbie: True Tales of The Family Band, which featured his
sister and pianist Bobbie Nelson. Before that, in June 2020, Nelson released
his album First Rose of Spring, which brought listeners
atmospheric, soulful songs. In February of 2021, he released a studio album
entitled That's Life, which is his second album of classics made famous
by Frank Sinatra.
