According to a list made by sports news site Yardbarker, the New Orleans Saints have the best, most rabid fan base in the entire NFL. All 32 NFL teams were ranked based on how energetic, passionate and loyal each fan base appears to be, especially during rough patches.
The New Orleans Saints fans were ranked number one due to Yardbarker viewing them as "the most devoted they have ever seen." Yardbarker went on to mention how the team is actually a part of the city and how the mood of the city rises and falls depending on how the team plays.
The Who Dat Nation constantly reps their hometown team no matter what day of the year it is but Yardbarker specifically mentioned that during Sunday home games, "all anyone is talking about is the Saints."
Saints fans have repeatedly been praised for their passion culminating in arguably the loudest and toughest places to play being the Superdome.
The Who Dat Nation will also delight in knowing where their division rivals were ranked by Yardbarker. The Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers were all ranked in the bottom half, 30th, 28th and 25th respectively. All three division rivals were ranked this low due to a general lack of loyalty and passion, but more importantly, empty seats.
Rounding out the top five were Green Bay in 2nd, Cleveland at 3rd, Kansas City at 4th and Dallas coming in at 5th.
