You might
be looking for something to watch or escape to these days, and Amazon has had
you covered. And now, it's going to have you extra-covered. This July, Amazon
is releasing a deluge of content for the many of us still housebound. Among the
listings that have become free with Amazon Prime are Midnight in Paris,
a crowd favorite, which is late Woody Allen at his best, with Owen Wilson as a
great "Woody stand-in." Others on the list include some romantic comedies,
including Hitch and Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist, which
should serve as a great romantic binge for those so inclined.
If you're looking for something a bit grittier, however, Amazon has that as
well. Ali, Anaconda, The Devil's Rejects, and Panic Room are all
more serious films that should fulfill the more serious among the Amazon
viewers in your house.
If that
doesn't sell you, Amazon also has some new releases of their own. This year
marks season 2 and the return of Amazon Prime Video's series Hanna,
which should allow that action-television binge that can only be served by
shows like Jack Ryan. In addition, the dramatic second season of Absentia
will entice fans of the series.
If you're
looking for something to do indoors during the month of July, Amazon has your
back.
Noteworthy
additions to the list also include Pineapple Express, Spanglish, The
Tourist, and Jim Gaffigan: Pale Tourist.
