Looking for something to do on Wednesday nights? The Young Leadership Council returns this year with their annual Wednesday at The Square concert series. The series will open on Wednesday, March 15 and will last for 12 weeks, ending on May 24.

Wednesday at the Square is a series of free outdoor concerts by well-known local Louisiana artists including Irma Thomas and Jamal Batiste. The event showcases a multitude of artists, and their different styles including pop, jazz, and punk. Held at Lafayette Square, there will be food fun and music for the whole family to enjoy.

This year there will be two back-to-back concerts on Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3. The concerts will feature Christian Scott Quintet and The Tipitina’s Interns, and Kermit Ruffins and Marcia Ball.
