Water Ballet Theatre Returns to The Drifter in August

Celebrate the middle of summer with an aquatic theatre performance by New Orleans’s first and only community-based water ballet ensemble next month!

Director and writer Alayne Gobeille and water ballet ensemble Aqua Mob continue their mission of spreading the joy of funny, yet powerful aquatic theatre accessible to people of all backgrounds.

Following up on last year’s performance of Two Legs Bad, based on George Orwell’s Animal Farm, Aqua Mob and Gobeille return to The Drifter to perform The Last!, a parody of Peter S. Beagle’s The Last Unicorn.

Performances will take place Thursday through Saturday, August 9-11 & 16-18.

The show (21+) is $15 with a sliding scale available at the door, along with VIP options.

Doors are at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8. Online tickets available at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3532505
